“Learjet liberal” was a favorite line by the GOP in the 2000’s. We see this recycled over and over. Every few years there is a flareup about how hypocritical [insert person, usually liberal] is for using one while ignoring that some of those talking heads complaining about it have probably flown on private jets with people they like on multiple occasions.
It’s a dumb, lazy, easy to use “critique” that doesn’t actually tell us anything. So now that the right has conspiracies about Taylor Swift and Biden, she is the new subject for this critique. Some on the left often go with it because they just in general get mad about private jets. I get that by the way, and I don’t blame them, but they are also playing into this silly game the right plays whether they know it or not.
Me, we all need private jets not this elitist crap, everyone should be able to eat breakfast in Paris and then again in New York when they feel like it.
