okay but there is no top and bottom in my scenario, I’m plugging the charging cable into a power bank that is hanging from a hook, The power bank can spin 360° any way it happens to land at any given moment
The top is probably the LED bar or the brand. Plastic bit goes under this. Just keep the plastic bit down and go around plugging it into things, if the device is designed correctly, it should be in the correct orientation most times.
Pretty much most of the time the plastic bit goes in the bottom, I get it in the first time most times.
