Yeah, he’s pointing out what conservatives in the US don’t want to hear and can’t see for themselves; the consevative ideology is inconsistent with itself. Probably as a result of decades of being contrarian just for the sake of being contrarian.
But it isn’t inconsistent with itself, it is inconsistent with the silly adjective that they chose for themselves. They aren’t anti-abortion because they want to protect all lives, they are anti-abortion because it’s a way to exert control, specially over poor people.
