In your cats eyes it’s your holiest place, therefore it wants in.
I have a cat who has collectively become known as “the bathroom cat” among our regular guests. She normally hangs out in the linen closet if she’s not holding audience atop the vanity demanding her scritches tax or waiting for an offering of running water into the sink.
