I think there is definitely some scrolling lag and performance issues from all the new stuff going in. Some good fixes bring proposed on GitHub so hopefully it’s better in the next release or so.
It might be the server you’re using. For example, lemmy.ml has been completely down for me. Switching to another account on different server made the app work instantly 🤔

However, it’s slight stuttering when scrolling that’s affect my app, like it’s not smooth. I’m not too sure if that has anything to do with lemmy.ml. Apart from the stutters, Jerboa is decent for where it’s at.
Ah, I see what you mean! I thought that the content was not being retrieved quickly. Might be something wrong in the app, as phil just mentioned. For me, it works well on EMUI 12.

No that’s very likely not the server, I’m experiencing it too. Maybe I’ll check out, if I can help optimize it.

Snapdragon 870 Android 13 no lag at all. Might be your phone or the instance you’re on.
