Also the prices are just rising slower now, they’re still rising. They never went down.
To add to this - all the inflation we already had is now baked in to these new lower inflation numbers. Nothing was fixed, it just stopped getting worse.

The obvious dunk is that it’s crazy to remove so many things and it looks like he just removed enough to get down to 2%. But used car prices have actually deflated over the last 12 months so the inflation number would be lower if he included them.
i look at this and think, maybe proletariat having guillotines ready at all times is like, a necessity.
