Right so the guy who left England to play for Bayern Munich, chose playing for Germany over England, wants to come back to England already.

He has just under 3 years left on his deal. They can easily open talks later and extend it then.

Yeah, one of those pointless headlines. Literally every club in the world would be interested if he were available.

It’s like those shit scouts in FM that send me “Have you heard about this Real Madrid player, he’s really good”. Only 17x my budget, sure, hook me up.

        Same happens in FIFA

You want a promising striker for Colchester with a budget of 1 million? Here’s Julián Álvarez for you.

Reminds me of watching Uruguay play somebody (probably Portugal) in the World Cup with one of my friends who is a lapsed football fan, the sort of guy who will watch the Champions League final and England in tournaments but takes little interest in the day to day events of the game.

Him - “Who does that Valverde play for? He looks incredible, I think we (meaning Aston Villa) should sign him.”

        Me - “Real Madrid.”

Him - “Oh. Ok. Maybe not then.”

yeah i feel like it must be a real slow news day when they always bring out stuff like this.

every single big european club will be keeping an eye on the contract talks/situations of players like Musiala

unless he outright comes out and says hes not renewing his contract then this aint even a story as then we can go into possible options. but even then he has a contract till 2026…

Why would they talk about extending his contract. It runs till 2026. This headline would only be relevant in 2 years from now.

After they showed zero collaboration with us on the Thiago transfer, Liverpool can take to their broke ass scrooge tactics to Scunthorpe or some shit, maybe grab a world class player or two for 3 euros
