The nation that experienced genocide themselves now vow to commit it themselves, and the world powers cheer. The world is broken beyond repair.

The West’s government, I am appalled at what my government is doing and I’m doing all I can.

Half the world supports them, another half of the world is agnostic and not doing anything, and the 3–4 countries are against it. No action to stop a genocide is an action in and of itself.

And I said world powers because while Russia and China are agnostic, they are happy with the end result of US using their resources to support Israel.

I completely agree. Hamas made a horrific attack. That doesn’t justify war crimes by Israel. Unfortunately, people are wdownvoring you as they see only black and white, good and bad. Both are horrible in this instance and there is no ‘good’ side.

Hamas were terrorists, killing innocent people. Israel is using the pretext of self protection after a terrorist attack to continue their policy of genocide.

The Palestinians are in a horrible position. Israel, and by proxy the USA, Europe, has put them there. That doesn’t justify the barbaric terrorist attacks.

We’ve seen this before. Most recently with northern Ireland. The only path forward is both sides at the table negotiating a peaceful solution. It was tried before and there was an impasse. It should be tried again with tapering off of support to both sides, militarily and humanitarian to encourage promptness.

Remind me how many peace offers Israel made and how many Palestine accepted again. It sucks but you can’t negotiate with an outfit that prefers mutual destruction to coexistence and sadly hamas does just that.

Not saying Israel and the idf are always or always do the right thing but right now it’s protecting it’s citizens and I can’t blame them for that.

Israel only offers deals it knows are unacceptable to Palestinians. That is not a meeting of equals. Equals negotiate.

I don’t think Palestine is smelling of roses. Hamas committed a terrorist attack that killed hundreds brutally.

Israel have continued to take land in violation of international law. Is that continuing to offer deals?
