In March, China helped broker a deal to restore diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran, two archrivals. Beijing has also offered to mediate between Israelis and Palestinians, though efforts have failed to gain traction.

The CPC learning first hand how fucked the Zionist regime is lmao.

China’s stance will play well in the Muslim world, where it has faced some criticism in the past over its treatment of Muslim Uyghurs in Xinjiang

I forgot this was the NY times, also lmao why does the author keep writing “Mr. Putin” and “Mr. Xi”, is there some kind of infatuation I don’t see here?

    xi-plz

Because that’s how journalists refer to people. The first time they’re mentioned, it’s with their title, and after that it’s by Mr/Ms. This isn’t anything new.
