    Never heard of sober October. Here in Finland it’s sober January. Which is a good pick since there’s very few happenings (holidays, events) happening then. Sober December would be a nightmare.

      January seems like a better time plus I guess you always have a New Year’s resolution.

      My friend is doing damp October in that anything Halloween related doesn’t count.

    Sober October can get fucked. How could I possibly go a spooky season without a few beers and some slasher flicks? Or whiskey night and The Thing. Or, damn, can you imagine a sober night of Rocky Horror? Don’t forget a joint and a six pack to go with Beetlejuice. No, I will not be sober this month.
