deserved win against a very good Monza team, D’Ambrosios stupidity really got us an exciting 2nd half with many chances because this game had 0:0 written all over it
one of the funniest, yet creative tactics i’ve seen was Monza not pressing our worst player in Ndicka but letting him have endless room and time. i feel like he he alone had the ball 10 minutes in the 1st half and absolutely nothing happened, hilarious but effective
playing with a men up is never going to be easy for us when we miss creative players and/or players who are good in 1vs1s. when Spinazzola was done the game went pure head through the wall.
i know people are gonna whine about Ayroli but that’s his refereeing line, players like D’Ambrosio really should be more clever. all in all he made probably 1 minor mistake and didn’t fell for a single dive or whatever. no bullshit with timewasting or coaching zones. credit to him where credit is due.
hitting the 8th and 9th post on top of that while Lukaku and Paredes played like they straight came jetlagged from the airport…
