It’s kinda funny how anthropology has completely overpassed evopsych in its use and presentation of the scientific method. Especially considering that when I went to school evopsych people would lose their minds if you suggested they were a liberal art and not an actual hard science.

This has been a widely accepted premise in biology for decades, especially within any scientific community that studied apes. The difference between male and female apes and their descendents is largely phenotypical, especially when compared to other mammals.

Since we began observing apes in the wild, there have always been females who take up rolls traditionally occupied by male apes. These females will not only adapt to social roles inhabited by males, but will physically become bigger and stronger than other females.

I don’t really understand how you could call yourself an evolutionary psychologist, and then know nothing about epigenetics.
