A former guard at the Santa Rita Jail in Dublin is alleging that internal affairs for the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office refused to investigate when he reported a colleague for sexually abusing two minors, according to a new lawsuit against the Sheriff’s Office.

    I might be wrong, but I think that most Organized Crime syndicates would manage things differently if one of their own members reported to the Conigliere that someone in their crew was molesting kids.

      I’m not an expert but the mafia is a minor hobby of mine and I think it would really depend on a couple things. The most important of which would be how much money that guy is bringing in and how much of a liability he might be. Organized crime is trying to lay low nowadays. Rest assured they are not honorable people. They’ll kill children, women, Innocent people, etc.

    Just a reminder that how they portray internal affairs in TV shows where cops hate them is complete bullshit. They are all cops and generally have worked together for years. Most departments do not even have an actual internal affairs and it is just the higher ups reviewing complaints.
