Hi, I wanted to ask in good faith to get a better idea of your position. You can look at my comment history to see how I respond, I do my best to be considerate I think.

When you wrote that you didn’t know why the person who responded to you brought up the west, was that because it didn’t seem relevant or because it seemed that they were trying to muddy waters in a sense? Like you made your point, they kinda didn’t engage with it and brought up some ancillary issue when you wanted to focus on what you believed to be relevant? I hope I got some of it right, I’d appreciate any corrections.

I’ve heard about hexbear’s reputation, and it is kinda confirmed. I’ll probably block it entirely but not until I answer you because at least you seem in good faith. Responding to the others ain’t going achieve much it seems.

Yea I mean I know there is plenty of corruption in the west. How and to what extend, that is not what I was arguing. By mentioning that it diverts what is going on in China. Corruption is corruption no matter where it is happening. And of course there are different forms of corruption. Did I answer your question this way?

        Cringe shit.

The reputation is dunking on bad takes sourced through an MSNBC interview with a former CIA operative who is an “expert” on China or something.

It’s shit like saying that you can freely protest against corruption in the West that is entirely laughable. The US government censured Tlaib this week you booger. Did you miss the mass arrests of Jewish voices for peace.

        hexbear’s reputation

        which is?

        I’ll probably block it entirely

no one gives a fuck, we get comments like these by the hundreds ever since federation was pushed forward, boo hoo.

The reason people on here rag on you is because the guy in OP’s post is a banker, not a party member, most corruption of the party was purged when Xi Jinping came to assume the post of president back in the 2010’s. Cases like OP are actually increasingly rare precisely because anti-corruption drives are and were so effective and harsh, meanwhile in the West you can fuck up an entire economy and get rewarded for it. So people are mocking you because A) your comment is grossly misinformed, ignores historical context of the US trying to destabilize the Chinese government by buying out party members for several years provoking a reckoning and anti corruption drives, B) fails the very basic task of distinguishing public servants and private sector actors, and C) regurgitates some form of sinophobia, of the asians as a horde, eg: stability of the party (lol, lmao, even), which people here are very quick to point out. Now you’re probably going to read this, roll your eyes and smugly claim i’m brainwashed or an idiot, but maybe having an actual dissection of your comments might help, although the lines about our “reputation” (lol) tells me you’re yet another LIB whom are usually about as entertaining as a dust mote. So long i guess.
