    I especially find it weird, because castles and churches exist, too. Sure, they were somewhat further along with technology, when those got built, but it still took a ton of physical labor and at least churches weren’t built out of pure necessity either.

      The pyramids, however, not only contain several orders of magnitude more material, are much older, but are also much, much taller. We’re talking 150 ft tall tower on a cathedral vs a 450 ft tall pyramid. The pyramids are mostly solid stonework. They are mini-mountains!
