Right now I have spectrum internet I’ve been looking at the arris surfboard s33 for a modem and some of the asus wifi 6, 6e and 7 routers looking for recommendations preferably something out of the box with simple setup for right now.

    My WiFi recommendation would be based on your home’s style, size, geometry, materials, and urban density, in addition to the number of people that live in your home.

    Personally I am skipping WiFi6e and wouldn’t do WiFi7 until it is well standardized and supported. The benefit of these standards is negligible for me for the foreseeable future, and their current prices are at an unreasonable premium. The cost/value ratio isn’t close to being right for me yet.

    Well I’m a novice w this stuff but I settled on the same two devices you have so that’s a good sign I think haha. Thinking about the Asus wifi 6

    Doesn’t Spectrum provide a modem for no extra charge? But if you are having difficulties with yours, they’ll swap it out for you.
