One of the reasons Brady and Belicheat were so good was because many other QB’s and Coaches SUCKED. HEY TOM, how could a QB perform today if he had a Coach telling him what Defense the other Team was playing???

Another reason they were so good is Brady “left” 100 million dollars on the table for other players. Was the playoff chat a payroll cheat as well? He milked the rich wife story.

Barry being happy the Lions are a better team today doesn’t negate the fact that the quality of play in the NFL has become mediocre…

Injures, it’s that simple, there’s mediocrity cause stars are hurt left right and center

Even the stars suck with inconsistency, though. It’s part injuries, part similar coaching styles (checkdown checkdown screen), the run game is hardly a threat anymore.

The entire league is turning into college ball style and it’s boring as fuck to watch.

I was in my early twenties watching the Lions play the Vikings in the thanksgiving game in 1995. Barry Sanders uniform came untucked. He was stuffing them back in while the announcers were blathering on. They kept the camera rolling and when Barry, my favorite player all-time, btw, had his uniform nice and tight, I watched his teammate take a can of nonstick cooking spray and lather his jersey and pants with it. The announcer started to make a comment but quickly shut his mouth. They cut away and into the dust bins of history it went.

Anyone else think Aaron Rodgers response to Brady’s comments is kinda funny considering he got hurt in his first game on his new team playing the most protected position in the game? Lol

There’s no quarterback playing in the league right now where it’s like, “yeah, he’s gonna be the best someday”

Noone will ever play like TB, just like there will ever be a player better than Michael Jordan.

That being said Jordan Love will be the 3rd HoF QB consecutively coming out of Green Bay.

He didnt really throw much shade at Tom outside I guess the teams he once played for which isnt really shade at Tom.

Barely just kinda says he thinks the current NFL is great especially the Lions.

It’s weird because there’s a “generational” qb prospect every other draft. You really think we’d be drowning in great qb play

Aaron Rodgers is a that. You’re a QB, dude, not even a real football player… easy to talk about how soft the game is when you’re protected like a roll of Charmin in bubble wrap by every rule in the book.
