It’s a new 2bay desktop TS-264. QNAP’s recommended operating temp is 0-40°C (32-104°F).
Am I taking a risk running close to 40°C; it could get that high if furnace runs for a long time. Are the temp swings a problem (it’s generally cooler than the rest of the house down there when furnace is off).
Any advice, tips, experiences please?
Provide it with conditioned air for intake, but in the cooling season route the exhaust to your furnace’s air return, to contribute toward heating the house.
