Example needs to be made. Professional athletes should NEVER go near opposing fans during a game. That’s just common sense. Beyond that, pros shouldn’t engage any random normal person. There’s no challenge there, especially when they’re padded up. Don’t make this normal behavior. There’s enough of that shit in the world already.

I hope he is punished. Most of us in this thread would be out on our ass jobless if we pulled this at work. He’s a person just like us and should face the same consequences just like us.
