    Half the reason companies in all industries are pushing AI adoption is to minimize their labor costs, which usually constitutes 25-30% of their operational expenses. Lower headcount means lower expenses, which means higher profits.

    There will be companies that try to go all-AI, but with the current state of things their products probably won’t be as good compared to a mixed workforce of humans+AI… but the long-term goal is to reduce headcount, and thus payrolls, to absolute minimums and let AI do the rest.
