I have 10Gbit internet access via a fiber optic connection, but my provider’s router admin interface is quite limited and its Wi-Fi reach isn’t very strong. As far as I know, the provider currently only allows access with their own router and their own mesh extenders.

Therefore I’m considering purchasing a better Wi-Fi router to connect to my provider’s router and solely use the network of the secondary router.

I found that the routers with a 10Gbit port seem to cost around $500 or more.

I was hoping to find something within the $150 to $250 price range. Are there any options available at that price?

Do you really want 10Gbps cables or just Wi-Fi? You can buy just an access point and disable the ISP’s Wi-Fi.

By the way TP-Link makes a 10 gig router. I don’t know much else about it other than you can plug in a 10 gig connection and I think it has Wi-Fi 6… 🤷
