Philips hue gradient light strip in server rack, not reachable... any idea how to fix?

I tried a while back putting a philips hue gradient light strip in my server rack, but prob the metal is blocking the signal/connection. I use philips hue with my bridge which is hard wired ethernet any idea how to get the strip working while inside the rack?? Thanks
