I mean, fossil fuel companies are dumping billions into green energy, so it would make sense for them to attend the talks.
They’re present mostly to block decarbonization. The amount they spend on clean energy is about 1% of what they spend on exploration and drilling – basically a PR exercise, not something intended to make a real difference
They probably spend more money talking about putting money into green energy. Oh and lying about the need for green energy
