    Good, he’s one of the few people who still calls out corruption left and right. Even if it means pissing off his parent company. I’m sure there are things he doesn’t talk about but I’ve honestly been impressed with how honest he is

      If you can find them, his old episodes of “the bugle” podcast were amazing

      He was working for (Murdoch’s) Newscorp. But when there was some nasty news stories about him, John and Andy just straight up said Rupert was a liar and guilty of all charges and then went on to just call him very rude words on a podcast he was paying them to make.

      They lasted for months doing that before getting fired. So while I think John will pick his battles, he’s not afraid to hit the hand that feeds him, if it deserves it.

    I’m pretty sure John Oliver is their cash cow at this point, him and Real Sports

    Everything else just gets written off as other people’s shit that HBO bought the rights to rebroadcast
