I’m done with the Covid boosters.

The flu vaccine I received fairly recently.

Rsv isn’t available.

Seems every year they’re going to try to cause panic over this.

Genuine question. Why are some vaccines fine and others not? You’ll listen to doctors and get a yearly flu shot, but when they recommend other shots it’s now a conspiracy? I genuinely don’t get it. How do you pick and choose which ones are good and which ones are bad?

Genuine question, you won’t even bat an eye at someone who isn’t terribly concerned about flu shots and doesn’t get one, but anything about COVID boosters is “OMG why you no just do what they want?!?”

A lot of the hate on COVID shots isn’t based on COVID shots, it’s based on the frenzied insistence by some people that everyone else must get one.

The insistence is just as baffling as the resistance in my opinion.

I didn’t get a COVID shot this year for the exact same reason I didn’t get a flu shot, because Walgreens is 45 miles from my house, I’m not making a trip there just for shots, and when we are in town, things like “do we have enough eggs and milk” tend to drown it out :)

        It’s genocide! J/k

I won’t get the Covid booster as I’m medically advised not to get it. Yet, someone turns it into a conspiracy.

        Rsv wasn’t available.

I do flu when it’s convenient. I won’t go out my way for lot.

I’m a fan of body autonomy. People should have the to have abortion or not get a vaccine.

Funny how RSV was never a thing until very recently, the suddenly it’s The Next Big Killer.

I recognized the BS immediately - with new kids in my family every year for the last 30+ years, we got to hear the new thing all the time. RSV was added to the list of new concerns years ago, not as a crisis, just something to be aware of. Our docs were never concerned about the risks, just making us aware of them.

Of course I read up on it then, and recognized there are some risk factors, and then promptly moved on.

Just more fear-mongering nonsense. My pediatrician is surely rolling in his grave over the current nonsense.
