The local communities can vote a tax in.

    I already addressed that:

“On top of that, marginalized demographics do not have the generational wealth required to get better jobs, meaning they can’t bear the burden.”

It’s not my job to pay another schools upkeep. I

I can’t fathom why somebody would want higher crime rates. Failing to educate the public leads to higher crime rates.

Republicans truly are the party of crime.

      I already addressed that:

No, you didn’t. You made some weird strawman argument. The residents can increase the tax by vote. They can create a minimum tax per unit. They can declare rental commercial property with high taxation. There are a plethora of things they can do.

I can’t fathom why somebody would want higher crime rates. Failing to educate the public leads to higher crime rates.

Easy, I pay for more law enforcement and we just keep them incarcerated. That is my solution to the problem. If someone wants better schools, pay for them. In return, I am willing to pay for more police to keep the poor people away from me.

        we just keep them incarcerated.

How very freedom. We are number one in prisoners per capita. Land of the Free my ass.

Any system that intentionally increases crime, prisoners per capita, and cost is a bad system. There are alternatives that reduce all three. But it requires everyone investing in education.

We have lots of criminals. They should be in jail or prison to keep society safe.

Nobody is intentionally increasing crime. That’s a strawman. If they they want better education. Pay for it. It’s that simple. It’s not my job to pay for everyone’s education. I pay for the education in my area.

Republicans and people like you are trying to destroy education. And that leads to higher crime rates.

So ultimately you’re saying you want higher crime rates.

Not at all. Republicans are trying to fix education. Instead of focusing on gender and sexuality. We want to focus on reading, writing and math.

Republicans are trying to destroy education by siphoning money away from already underfunded schools. Y’all aren’t trying to fix it. You’re just focusing on culture war bullshit.

Not true at all. Can you show more money yields better results? That would be interesting since most studies don’t show that at all.

They’d pay for their own education. Maybe you meant the one down where you weight consequences

Would they pay for their own education? But yeah, weighing the consequences of a bunch of ignorant people running around is important, too.

Well they don’t know in many cases. I put my kid in a private school.

I pay taxes to support the schools where I live now. The schools are fairly crappy in my opinion. The kids don’t score well on tests but they know every gender and sexuality out there.

The conservatives are trying to take over the school board to fix that. School is a serious topic and more money isn’t always the answer. The number one indicator is parent involvement for academic success. Something conservatives preach and liberals despise.

We have a local psychiatrist going for re-election on the board. It was funny to see liberals claim he wasn’t qualified to talk about mental health issues such as sexuality and gender. Tthat teachers are better trained to handle those discussions. smh
