JFC. People are in crisis so the police take them to jail in order to give them a safe spot which still results in suicides. It’s a literal nightmare

Well to begin with, they probably have socialized medicine. Which means that people with mental health problems can walk into a clinic and get the help they need. For free. Without having to jump through any hoops to get it.

These are all assumptions based on an answer the person i responded to hasn’t provided yet.

My point being that not every civilized country has the same views on Mental health, and what you’re describing probably only pertains to a small handful of countries, and probably mostly in Western Europe or Japan specifically.

So the question was rhetorical. You know what could be done you’re just skeptical they live in a place that has that system in place? Dumb

You’re just being an asshole know it all who has to show he knows things, i actually wanted to know what their country would do from their perspective, or what they think their country would do, because the truth isn’t always so cut and dry, but mr know it all of course has to jump in with your assumptions.

How old is he? There was some study several years ago from Norway I believe that states many people have schizophrenia like symptoms between 18-26. It’s like a third of the population. This was a really long time ago. I’m sorry if I’m spreading bad information.

I can’t. It’s been way too long. But iirc the article postulates that many people have an identity crisis and question their reality. Which in essence is schizophrenic-like behaviors. I wish I had more information. I was hoping someone would see this and chime in and confirm what I remember. It was many years ago and I remember having similar thoughts due to a massive amount of hallucinogens in my system.
