No, but there’s not as many of them as you might think. TX is gerrymandered to hell, voter suppression abounds, and so many people don’t think beyond the R it’s astounding. The Republicans have created an environment where they almost can’t help but stay in power. If everyone eligible to vote in TX was able to do so properly, the state would look a lot more purple.
