I’ve noticed this aswell and not just in this sub. No idea why exactly, but sadly it does take a base level of activity to facilitate discussions and i think once you fall below that comments overall dry up fast.
It is an issue with federation between feddit.de and lemme.ee. Only users from lemmy.ee can see your comments and you cannot see comments from feddit-users. If you look at the original community, the comment section appears completely different: https://feddit.de/post/7092973
What’s the fix to this?
Wait? Join another instance?
It’s the discussions that makes it interesting to post things, so without comments posting content seems pointless.
