Trying to install VPN and these are the instructions Mullvad is giving me. This is ridiculous. There must be a more simple way. I know how to follow the instructions but I have no idea what I’m doing here. Can’t I just download a file and install it? I’m on Ubuntu.
I suggest using Wireguard since it’s much faster.
Anyways I disagree that one shouldn’t use the app at all. While you could use Wireguard and OVPN config files, it’s very inconvenient. Especially if you want to switch countries or servers. I use WG config files for ProtonVPN because their Linux app is ass on Linux but the mullvad is great.
The app also has more features in general.
