Dbz is not a particularly deep anime but it had some good themes in it like self-improvement, helping others and kicking fascists asses. Reducing it to just violence is just dumb analysis.

Fun story: thanks to AI, some dudes have recreated dbz openings/endings with the voice of Luis Miguel, one of the best mexican singers. It’s fire.
