well some cats are just like that, same as some humans just aren’t personable. Do they squint at you? because that’s also a sign of at least trust.

Might also be they could use some more playtime or something, i recommend watching jackson galaxy for cat tips.

Rest assured, my cat and I are perfectly fine. She’s actually quite cuddly at times even when she’s all aloof. I’ll be on the couch watching TV and she’ll just mosey up next to me without making eye contact. I just wanted to make that joke comment.

First time I had contact with a angry cat I had no idea it was angry. Owner had to explain to me 15x all of her tells. 3 years later cat drags me to basement to feed her before her owner wakes. It was like lassie and the well but the well was a giant container of kitty food.

    It legit went like this:

Cat:“NO TIME HUMAN WE HAVE TO GO TO THE DEPTHS OF THE HOME.” Me: OK I’m opening door. Cat Flys down using feather fall. Cat: “meow move these objects to reveal the objective.” Me: Ok moving random junk in basement to reveal a tote. Cat:" open the chest" Me: “ok and wtf this Is just Cat food. You have tub of this upstairs” Cat proceeds to look at me all smugly. Motions it wants food from THIS source.
