Ilah is perfectly clear. The only reason it wouldn’t be clear is if you didn’t speak Arabic and had 0 interest in learning some of its most important cultural and linguistic concepts. And if you don’t speak Arabic, then you already had to learn to say Allah in Arabic, so why not one more word?
