      And the side effects are rare and statistically pose less risk than being unvaccinated and contracting the actual virus.

        it’s important to check up on previously made estimations and see how well they hold up.

        Might result in “oh shit, we missed something important” or “good to know we were right, now we have an even better foundation for the next studies”

          Oh absolutely, but as a news item it’s a little uneventful.

          On the other hand, I suppose it’s good to know that the scientific process is still there, ticking away in the background.

        Really it’s just confirmation of what we were pretty sure of all along.

        That won’t stop people from lying about it, of course.

      It’s a large scale study looking for adverse effects of the covid vaccines. TLDR is that there are some adverse affects that are worse investigating further, but overall vaccines are largely safe.
