I’d say Wendy’s if we’re talking “fast” fast food.

Otherwise, I much prefer making the burgers myself since you can spice the ground beef however you want it as well as add diced onions in the meat and some cool creative stuffs.

Five Guys has great burgers, and being able to get exactly the toppings you want is nice. Great fries too. But of the more standard fast food places I’d also say Wendy’s.

Five guys is great… used to be my go-to, but they’ve more than doubled the prices. Now I can easily spend $20 on a burger, fries and soda for one person. It’s as expensive as a trendy downtown cocktails and grill type place now.

Interesting. I can see why Five Guys might not be considered truly fast food. There’s no drive through, and they don’t start cooking it until you order it. But when I made this, I assumed it was included, because they serve it in a paper bag, ready to go. Just looked it up on Wikipedia which describes it as fast food, so I think it counts!

I prefer simple cheeseburgers in general. KFC had a menu which had a fried chicken strip instead of a patty and it was just what I needed, fried and greasy shit in compact form.

I don’t like huge stack of whatever in contrast. What’s the point if I can’t shove it in without worry? I’m trying to eat, not deep throating a BBC.

I’ve had the Impossible Whopper several times, which is very tasty (I realize not 100% vegan due to mayo and cross contamination).

Is your vegan fast food place a local joint or are they bigger? I’d be interested in trying it out if there’s one near me.

I’ve never had their Stacker. That’s a huge burger! Looks tasty. I usually get the Whopper (which is my personal favorite fast food burger). Maybe I can get a stacker and save half for the next day.

I’m a picky eater and I don;t eat veggies even on burgers so the Stacker is basically meat with meat and cheese, perfectly made for me ohoho

I used to grab a burger from my local Hardee’s, it was the best damn burgers i ever had and I’ve been a fat ass up and down the east coast. Unfortunately they’ve gone to shit these last few years.

Hadn’t had Carl’s Jr in years, but one happened to be right next to my hotel in Canada. They had a Famous Star special and it was really tasty.

Five Guys has always felt expensive to me as well (although I never feel ripped off, there are so many fries)… but it’s even difficult to get McDonald’s for under $10 these days.

Hardee’s/Carl’s Jr is probably my favorite, though I’m not much of a fast food burger guy. I find that they tend to have a low value/cost ratio as soon as you move beyond the bare minimum 99¢ burgers. To that end, I’m a big taco bell fan. I feel like my money just goes way further on their menu than other places. The crunchwrap supreme is one of the vanishingly few “premium” menu items at a fast food place that’s still under $5 straight up, no “pick 2”, no limited time. They also blow everyone else out with their rotating menu items.

Since I’m no burger connoisseur, as long as the burger have the meat, tomato, salad, and cheese(optional) I’m good to go.

But I do love it when my local Mcdonald have those burger with fish fillet, yakiniku, or chicken katsu (I don’t know the english word for the last two)

Not sure. Possibly either of these? McRib, Chicken McNuggets?

I have been looking forward to trying MOS Burger (that’s where the burger in the post image is from). I was impressed that the real burger looked even better than what they showed on the menu. It’s usually the opposite here.
