So-called verified accounts on the platform formerly known as Twitter spreading fake news that UK’s King Charles has died. Russian media has also disseminated it. British embassies in Eastern Europe attempting to knock down the disinformation campaign.

It was really clear that something was up when the Queen died. Report were on things around it: movement of the Royals, people being called in to the BBC, announcements of press conference, etc. None of that has happened and then you get a wild tweet….
