minus-squareregullinkfedilinkarrow-up7·8 months agoA city I lived in had automated traffic light enforcement. The city council received a report that it had neither reduced the danger at the intersections in question, nor had the program created enough revenue to pay for itself. They kept it.
Just raising revenue. Cut down on vehicular traffic in cities and they’ll be far safer than any automated enforcement could ever hope to achieve.
