More Americans vote Democrat than Republican. The parties are split, the amount of people they represent are not. 11,000,000 Californians wanting something and 200,000 Wyomingites disagreeing is not as even a split as the US Congress would imply it is.

Actually, in most cases, it is the same. That is how our government works. Each state has two senators. That’s it. It’s to make sure the 200,000 people in Wyoming are heard.

It’s why we have the electoral college. To make sure every state has a voice.

People have opinions, not states. Senators represent people, not states. A senator representing 10,000,000 people and a senator representating 2,000,000 people may have equal power, but that doesn’t mean their opinions are equally popular. I understand that what is popular in one state might not be popular in another. It’s fine to say an opinion is popular in Wyoming, but if it’s not popular in California then it’s an unpopular opinion, not an even split. Only in America would someone say 11,000,000 vs 200,000 is an even split.

As a country we are fairly split along republican and democrats.

Not sure why you keep babbling about California. The states is going bankrupt, people are fleeing the state like crazy and nobody cares what they think. They created their problem by voting democrat.

My administration is taking the crisis of gun violence head on. I’ve signed more executive actions on gun violence than any president in history and the most significant law to address gun violence in almost 30 years.

How is it not? Hes bragging about passing gun control laws (the right to bear arms are inalienable) with executive orders.

Tbh, not much. But its the intent that matters. The president of the united states is outwardly proud of unconstitutionally infringing on our rights, saying it loud and proud for all to here.

While you’re throwing stones, I presume you have absolutely no problem with the 220 executive orders that Trump made? Or the 291 that George W. Bush made? Or the 166 that George Bush made?

How’s that glass house treating you?

I actually have an issue with most executive orders. I’m not overly partisan like that. They’re often garbage and trying to circumvent the checks and balances

    Calm down there, Patrick Henry.

The executive order I see is about the department of education promoting the importance of safe storage. The reason for this is because the leading cause of death among children and teens in the USA is firearms. Educating people that leaving guns laying around unsecured is dangerous is not violating anybody’s rights. Hopefully it will save some innocent lives. Seems pretty common sense to me. Secure your fuckin firearms so the kids don’t get aholt of em.

Or train your kids. I’ve always had loaded firearms In my home. They’re not much use if they’re unloaded and locked away. I trained my kid on property usage and she knows how to use every firearm in the home. If you look at the stats, they’re heavily skewed to certain areas. If you live in a war zone, you’re likely to have children shot. It’s why we need more law enforcement cracking down in those areas.
