    It’s weird because as conspiracy theorists there also tends to be an overlap with preppers, who would be the first people to eat bugs if they had to.

      Real preppers would, yes. These dudes are just ammosexuals with delusions of grandeur.

          I’ve never tried them but from what I have heard, they basically just taste like a crunchy version of what ever spice you are getting them with. You only really get flavor with the bigger things. I’m not opposed to eating bugs but have not come across the opportunity to have them since I have been willing to eat them.

              Thanks. But it’s not something I feel like actively seeking out. However, if I see some fried crickets at a farmer’s market or chocolate covered grass hoppers at small store, I would be happy to try them out.

                Totally fair. I first had crickets when I was a kid (in a sucker from a museum. I was the only one in my class trip willing to buy and consume it), so it doesn’t bother me at all, but I get the squick.

            Yeah theoretically I’m fine with it but it’s a good I feel disgust towards eating so don’t want to partake in.
