I’m not aware of any communist militias fighting for ukrane. That would be the ideological opposite of fascism. They outlawed those parties anyway, so it’s unlikely any commies would be like “yeah, let me defend this homeland that hates me and made my organization illegal!”

regardless, i’m interested to know how they’re doing now and how the ideas around anarchism in ukrane are developing. its been two years of war since that article was published and a lot has changed.
Yeah, I’m curious too. The Ukrainians would have every incentive to see them and other progressive-flavour groups grow, and the battle went well until recently, so I doubt they’re gone.
