How about the word influence then. I did not mean absolute control by my wording. And to dispute that influence requires a lot of mental gymnastics
Not really, it only gets the influence granted to it on behalf of western powers as far as I’ve seen. Israel would be a smudge if it weren’t for US influence exercised on its behalf.
It’s like, I don’t know, veterans. Politicians don’t badmouth them, they get idolized, but they don’t influence much.
