Shame, Winter Soldier was the better half. I don’t have faith in Mackie to carry a whole movie. Sam Wilson is a great character, but Mackie is going to need a phenomenal script.
Also, if we don’t get Rulk, we riot. Harrison Ford can carry a movie.
Bucky got a few impactful scenes. But the story was Sam’s. Aside from that, I thought the ensemble of characters, old and new, was what made the show so amazing. I really want to see more John Walker.
Also, I would be shocked if there wasn’t a scene of Sam just trying to survive Red Hulk.
Liv Tyler is reprising her role, so we may even get a Red She Hulk. I’m also looking forward to the Leader, and I hope they don’t just kill off all of the bad guys per usual. I do worry they will pull the assassination of Blonsky from the comics as the central mystery. Abomination as a motivational speaker was fun in She Hulk.
My guess is we also see Skaar and Eli Bradley join the fray, along with Falcon II, and they form the basis for Young Avengers. The articles keep suggesting this is the first chapter in the new direction for the MCU.
