Cool. I guess this is related to the “news” of pending layoffs… somehow.
Obviously there is demand for it.
Because you are on the waitlist? Is that why you think the demand is obvious? Or that your anecdotal evidence is relevant? So I guess when I went to Best Buy last night after they closed I can also say the demand for them to stay open longer is obvious… because, you know, I am the center of my universe.
I don’t know if I’ll buy yet,
But you just said there was demand. Now I am confused. So do you want it or not? Sounds like the self professed demand may not exist?
but I haven’t been notified yet.
It’s like you’re trying to close up some previous thread, but I’m having trouble finding either a beginning or an end.
Yes. My credit date is set at 2028. So you think Tesla is going to cut production of their highest margin product to reduce sales and margins? Any intelligent person would say, oh that does sound like BS.
But of course you didn’t read the article and just want to show the world with your ignorance and try to make some weird ad hominem attacks because you didn’t read the article.
In the article it states that Tesla often does layoffs.
Where I live, most corps do layoffs around September and October every year. Just long enough so it’s not ‘right before Xmas’ avoiding negative press.
That said, it may be that they’re staffing to catch up and just maintain at actual demand since I expect it’s lower than hoped.
Look like they are cutting the hours per shift. So you may be right. The supply may be catching up to the demand. It’s interesting because he said they are almost sold out for 2024. Yet my order was in 2021 and I’m told a delivery of 2028 currently.
Looks like a 10% cut while the article was talking about 20%.
It’ll be interesting to see if my estimate changes to order the truck. When I put In the reservation, it was supposed to cost about 40k.
Interesting. My dog is licking himself. I bet he is also thinking about chasing a model Y. I could be wrong. I don’t speak dog.
You believe an article that says they are going to layyoff shifts when they have a backlog on the product ?
I don’t believe articles discussing rumors in general. I like to wait until it’s actually news.
I only commented because your response had nothing to do with the price of tea in China. That’s all.
It’s confirmed by Tesla, now.
Case in point though, the actual numbers were half of the rumors.
My response has to do with the article. Helps if you actually read the article.
Lol, yes it does in your head. Good evening.
It would to anyone who read the article.
Let’s break it down.

I can see it in the well-considered persuasive arguments.

The rumors have now been confirmed by Tesla.
Your point makes sense. I don’t know why people decided you pointing out the deep wait list was some kind of main character thing.
That said, it may be that they’re staffing to catch up and just maintain at actual demand since I expect it’s lower than hoped.
