Has anyone here managed to replicate rice cooker rice in an instantpot?.. No matter which recipe/method I try it just doesn’t come out right. Last night’s was cooked, but not fluffy, sort of more chewy. I’ve used the “rice button” option and a few pressure cooker options.
Honestly, don’t know. I’ve only ever cooked Basmati like this. I would try maybe like half and half as a trial run for 3 and see how it goes.
I can tell you that Basmati burns at 4 minutes though.
In a rice cooker, once it’s done you fluff the rice with a fork then you put the lid back on for 10 minutes. This helps to fluff the rice. Maybe try that.

1:1 ratio of rice to water
Pressure cook on high for 3 minutes.
Works every time.
DO NOTE CHANGE THE WATER TO RICE RATIO. EACH CUP OF RICE NEEDS A CUP OF WATER. BELIEVE ME

try adding more water?
