Did my first Parkrun this morning. About 100 people. Was great. Got a PB too.

I used to do that at the Old Bar like 20 years ago. Good to hear it’s still got the same vibe

I did my first Parkrun this morning. I’ve been saying I’ll do one for ages but I’ve never managed to pull myself out of bed. There were probably 100 people in the wind and drizzle. Very welcoming and very varied in running ability. I got a PB so I’m pretty happy that I got up. Would recommend.

This doggo hates a bath, but will happily walk straight in to a warm shower after a creek walk.

Gentle run this morning with the doggo. Still sore from the weekends fun-run. Anyone take supplements for muscle soreness here? Thinking I might need to try some

I meant more checking that the listed ball weight for the camper is accurate. Weigh bridges can have different sections, so you detach the trailer, position the main axle on one section and the jockey wheel on the next, make sure it’s level, then you’ll get an accurate camper ball weight… I say this as a PSA on account of when I was looking to buy our first camper, the one we were looking at, the guy had replaced the stats plate (? The metal plate with the gross weight, ball weight etc) with a different one, unbeknownst to us. Ball weight was well above what he was claiming as he’d had stainless steel cabinets added. Luckily we caught it before buying.

Probably meet a hell of a lot of new people that way…open doors etc
