i don’t have to deal with smelling like a smoker, they don’t make your eyes burn and get red, they seem to be more mellow and much more gradual at making you high too, they don’t need charging or have problems with coils leeching whatever other weird heavy metal shit into a vape

yeah it’s more expensive especially if you’re buying dispensary gummies like my lazy ass does, and takes a hot minute to kick in vs instant smoking, but like damn some huge upsides

I have only started using cannabis in the past year or so, started with edibles and generally not wanting to smoke due to health concerns. I am sure that vaping is probably not super great for you either, but holy shit if my mighty+ isn’t my favorite purchase in recent memory. We only use it a couple times a week but my wife and I get to another planet on a capsule of .2-.25 of flower. Takes us forever to get through an eighth, it’s efficient and much more predictable than edibles.

This is no one size fits all answer for weed. What you like today may change tomorrow, sometimes all it takes is trying something new. Just do whatever fits your life.

Edibles are definitely a strong contender for being the most discreet, although potent ones may pop back up on you later to spill the secret… There are some funny/terrible stories out there of people who tried to sneak a fart or got sweaty and ended up reeking of weed.

Tinctures and sublinguals are a form of edible that I think get overlooked a lot. When used correctly they can offer the quick and hard hitting highs that other methods are more well known for, but with the same discreetness that something like a gummy might offer.

Smoking is probably the most common but also the most prohibitive. It’s usually the smelliest way to use weed and the hardest to be discreet about. My personal opinion is that these days smoking is probably one of the worst ways to use weed but it’s tried and true and sometimes that’s just what people want.

Vaping is pretty much my recommended method for everything from discreet hits in public to mega cloud rocket ship hits from more powerful devices. Everything good about smoking weed is improved with vaping (IMO) and many of the negatives that are associated with smoking are reduced or eliminated when vaping. There’s all kinds of stuff from 510 carts to dry herb portables for on the go, and heavy hitting plug in rigs for home. It’s hard to beat if you don’t mind inhaling vapor.

There are other methods too that I know even less about, but you should definitely just try everything and see what you like. Or don’t, I don’t care.

I heavily prefer smoking to all other types of weed consumption. I’ve used weed for over a decade in just about every imaginable way, but smoking is where I always return. Something about it is comforting, ritualistic, and familiar.

Yup, some people just have methods that are what they want. As long as it works for you who am I to tell you otherwise. Enjoy your smoke friend.

I like when I smoke grass directly, because there’s something I really dig about the ritual of cleaning my bong, grinding the flower, packing a bowl, and then expertly cornering to get 3 great green-hits.

I also like to vape, because it’s discreet for on-the-go, and nobody in the world is going to be able to tell the difference between a nicotine vape and a THC vape. They really can get you incredibly high.

I also like edibles, because some activities I want to stay in the present for, and having a long term, consistent high is great, without needing to sneak tokes or vape hits.

I also like tinctures, because they give you a much quicker high then edibles, but still give you a long-term effect. It’s just a bit weird walking around with an old timey amber medicine dropper bottle lol

What I’m tryin to say, is all the ways are good, and they all have advantages/disadvantages, but what’s really important is that we all share with eachother, and never knock someones preferred method. Just like metal heads, stoners are a group that can meld with eachother wherever, whenever, and I think that’s something we should always aim to keep. Enjoy todays tokes, friends

MORE mellow you say? Thats not my personal experience, but i know they can effect everone differently (and different mg exist) i prefer the type of high i get from vaping to edibles, but edibles are great for me when im travelling or to be more Secret Squirrel.

Yeah, I find the sort of “ramp up” to being high takes longer with edibles vs the “fine one second, oh shit I’m high as balls the next” that you get with smoking. and it overall feels less intense for roughly equivalent doses. It definitely effects everyone differently though

I can only do edibles as my doctor would appear and admonish me about inhaling any smoke, and then my siblings doctor would appear and smack me as smoke is even worse for sibling and no smoking even near them.

    The gummies also taste nice.

yeah i think about that too, I know inhaling any kind of smoke (weed or otherwise) ain’t great for your lungs, although i smoke so infrequently as to have it be a non-issue health wise… I really just hate smelling like the stuff, especially since my girlfriend hates the smell as well.

She’d do it somehow, I’m sure of it!

I’d also just feel very bad about possibly harming sibling.
