Beware of fake beaches (Pokémon Go)

Five days ago Niantic announced a new Pokémon in Pokémon Go, which spawns only in beaches. So it could happen that someone could add fake beaches in these days (I found two users already in Italy with a quick check), this is just a reminder to take a look in you local area. Pokémon Go relies heavily on Openstreetmap for controlling what types of Pokemon spawn and where.

A recently added pokémon spawns in “beach” areas. Some users may place fake beaches near areas they frequent.

That being said, I would also expect to see a boost in legitimate beaches being added on to the maps now.
