Warning signs? … sometimes I feel like this on a regular basis.
1 4 5 7 and 8 are baseline behavior for me. Maybe I’m just an anxious person.
It could also be autism. Those are also signs of ASD
Exactly. Feels like a list of post COVID era life changes.
Yeah is this not just how everyone feels
What about rage quitting your job, binge drinking and a total loss of interest in all activity?
Congrats you’re major depressive!
On more serious note please get in with a therapist and psychologist to get treatment. It’s not like a viral cold, it’s like a bacterial infection that won’t get better on its own without treatment.
You could have depression if this video applies to you: https://youtu.be/XiCrniLQGYc?si=zhW2zJmjXl8Rb0lT
thank you, now I’d like a guide on what to do next please… 🥺
Medication and therapy were life changers for me. You may not find the right med or the right therapist on your first (second, third, etc) attempts, but I’m glad I kept pursuing both. Medication doesn’t have to be permanent, but if you’re like me and your baseline is incredibly anxious and has been since you were small then you might just need it.
If you’re LGBTQ+, definitely consider therapy with someone through an LGBT health center if you can. If there isn’t one near you, teletherapy has made it way easier to find competent LGBTQ+ positive therapists.
I was more interested in how to accompany people going through anxiety, but your answer was very interesting nonetheless
my 2 cents is to help distract them, especially with exercises, anxiety is build up energy/stress, you need to eliminate that energy
lol, sorry for misinterpreting it!
Haha this infographic is dumb. Everyone feels like this 100 % of the time.
…right…?
/S just so no one thinks I’m actually serious. Don’t want to offend anyone.
The three on the right pretty much all the time.
Yeah. A good portion of the ones listed are a constant. It kinda sucks, doesn’t it? Haha.
Most of these are signs of being restless or bored… This isn’t necessarily anxiety.
Everyone here be like “But this could also be a sign of XY”. Of course that’s right, but that’s not the point. The point is realizing when the people you are with, friends, family, whatever, are in discomfort. It’s about developing a sensitivity about it. You may not believe it, but many people who have not experienced these issues themselves, it’s really hard to tell.
Sounds a lot like autism. I tick all these boxes but am not particularly anxious.
Interesting, seems to make more sense to me too. Largely because i have anxiety issues, and it feels more fight or flight (mostly flight) as opposed to the above.
Came to say ADHD. Maybe the neurotypicals just misread anything “different” and lump it together?
They usually do
Brooo same! I went out with friends last friday and we hung out at walmart. And i was thinking about what bag of chips i wanted and a family freind came over and said hi and i zoned back in. And my friends asked what happend you took like 20 seconds to realize what was going on around you. The anwer was ruffles :D and i explained to my friends that i just kinda zone out in tought lmao.
My wife starts watching old animes she has watched 100 times and then starts a panic attack shortly after.

Me at work every day because of the noise.
