A Minnesota Senate ethics panel is expected to begin considering what to do with a lawmaker who’s charged with burglary for allegedly breaking into her estranged stepmother’s house.
It does sound like a clear cut car case of burglary but until there’s a conviction I think this should be dealt with on a party level. The GOP has booted Democrats for way less. The bar for bipartisan expulsion should be high IMO – felony conviction or repeated rule violations and at least one suspension.
Yeah, but when we’re talking about a dead dad’s house, we could be talking about a place that she’s been coming and going from and has keys too. IMHO, family shit is messy, and context is important.
