ESR is the only one I’d be sad to see leave from this list.
Same, love me some ESR and because there feels like potential there. I’ll be sad about Ramsdale and Tierney as well, but I don’t see them coming back into the squad now.
With Ramsdale, it’s different, because I think he can go on to be much better than Raya, so I’d like to see him go elsewhere and prove Arteta wrong.
Ramsdale and Raya situation reminds me a lot of Emi Martinez and Leno after Bernd’s injury. We all know who ended up being the better keeper long term, but the short term need was more important.
I have a feeling the same will become of Ramsdale, where he will absolutely flourish in 4 years, but obviously won’t do that if he’s sitting on the bench. I’d be happier seeing him stay, but wouldn’t be surprised if he’s starting to say his goodbyes.
